Learning Objectives

  • Evaluate individuals with lower-limb loss for multisite pain using Pain Body Diagrams.
  • Interpret performance of individuals with lower-limb loss on the 10-Meter Walk Test, Timed Up and Go, and the 2-/6-Minute Walk Test.
  • Discuss implications of multisite pain presence on interpretation of functional outcome measure performance among adults with lower-limb loss.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the importance of microprocessor-controlled stance and swing orthotic intervention for individuals with neuromuscular disease and disorders.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the improvements in patient-specific functional scale found after 6-12 months of C-Brace use.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the reductions in the use of walking aids found after 6-12 months of C-Brace use.
