Course Description
Adjustable-Volume Sockets: Clinical Indications, Reimbursement, Evidence, and Future Direction (AM2025-OS17)
Adjustable-volume sockets have recently received a new L-code and reimbursement allowable with CMS making them a viable product for many practices and, thus, improving access for patients around the country. This session will outline proper patient indications, clinical applications, and provide the latest information on reimbursement pathways with documentation requirements. In addition, current evidence of efficacy and future direction for the technology will be presented. An expert panel of experienced adjustable-volume socket practitioners and researchers will provide attendees the information necessary to add adjustable-volume sockets to the attendees clinical toolbox.
