Learning Objectives
- Develop treatment strategies, alignment considerations, and component reccomendations for bone anchored prostheses utilized within the transtibial and transfemoral patient populations
- Direct best practices for bone-anchored prosthetic patient care based upon current research and publications (e.g. SSC proceedings)
- Utilize objective troubleshooting practices to ensure challenges met in managing the bone-anchored prosthetic patient are solved with the safely of the patient and the longevity of the implant(s) at the forefront

Prosthetic gait as we know it has been understood for the socket-wearing patient. As we navigate into the space of bone-achored prosthetics, it is important to consider the nuances that exist with prosthetic alignment and component selection in order to maximize patient outcomes.
