Learning Objectives
- By the end of this course, participants will be able to identify the physical and psychosocial impacts of lower-limb amputation (LLA) due to trauma, including effects on mobility, quality of life, and mental health.
- Participants will be able to recognize the factors influencing functional outcomes in individuals with lower-limb amputation and apply this knowledge to improve patient rehabilitation strategies.
- Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to describe the role of healthcare professionals in supporting the recovery of individuals with lower-limb amputation, addressing both physical rehabilitation and mental health needs.
