Schwartz Rounds Challenging Family Dynamics in O&P (AM2021-OS08)


The stresses of today’s healthcare system can cause many providers to feel anxious, frustrated, and under pressure.  This dynamic and interactive session is focused on the human dimension of medicine. Each panelist will openly and honestly discuss the social and emotional issues involved in a specific challenging situation they faced in caring for patients and families. The panelists and audience members will discuss each scenario with the goal of supporting each other and growing in our understanding of how to navigate challenging encounters.
